The Association of Minor League Umpires (AMLU) was formed in 1999. AMLU is a national labor union that represents professional baseball umpires working in Minor League and Major League Baseball in the United States and Canada.

In 2010 AMLU members voted to affiliate with Office and Professional Employees International Union. OPEIU is a diverse white-collar and professional based union representing over 125,000 employees in various industries.

Membership- Dues Check Off Form

Our Dues Check Off Form is now ELECTRONIC! As of February 2018, the AMLU will use DocuSign to electronically complete all DCO Forms. This makes the new member process instantaneous and easy. This form is only required to be submitted once in your career as an MiLB umpire and AMLU member.

An email will be sent to all newly hired MiLB Umpires with the DocuSign form attached. If you have not received this email and would like to join the AMLU, we will ensure one will be sent promptly. Please email 2ndVicePresident@AMLU.org including the following information:

2) Cell phone

3) Home address

4) Email address you wish to keep on file (if different from sending address)
